Dyan Cannon made history as the first woman in the Motion Picture Academy to earn Oscar nominations both in front of and behind the camera. Dyan’s second Oscar nomination came for Best Live Action Short for Number One, a 48-minute film she wrote, directed, produced, edited, and scored.
